Web Accessibility

Dublin City Council is working towards full compliance with NDA guidelines for public bodies (equivalent to W3C AA level or higher). We endeavour to provide a website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
We use the popular Drupal CMS which is committed to ensuring that all core Drupal  features conform to W3C AA level.
Although we want the entire site to be NDA compliant, there are some instances where content does not meet these standards. The most prominent of these are listed below - see Accessibility Exclusions.
Accessibility Exclusions
The following content is not compliant to the standards of the NDA:

'Find a planning application' search feature

Whilst effort has been made to improve the accessibility of many of the attached documents (pdfs), there are some documents that may not be compliant to the standards of the NDA.

Increasing the text size and changing contrast
If a user finds that the text on this site is too small of the contrast setting needs adjustment, this can easily be changed by locating the built in text re-sizing and contrasting function which is found to the top of all pages. The text size call also be adjusted within the users browser.
